James River Air residential boiler technicians utilize their knowledge and experience in the mechanical trade to perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of boiler/hydronic systems while providing exceptional customer service. Essential Functions:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Experience with installing, repairing & maintenance of residential boilers.
- Understanding of radiator and baseboard hydronic systems and piping
- Fluency in working with copper, black iron, and pro-press materials.
- Standard 80% and Condensing boiler experience a plus
- Space heating and domestic water applications knowledge
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Understand boiler operations safety protocols and technical manuals
- Must possess a background and experience of plumbing and associated equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- 3-5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
- All successful candidates must be able to pass the required physical, background check and drug-screen.
