Overview:

James River Air residential boiler technicians utilize their knowledge and experience in the mechanical trade to perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of boiler/hydronic systems while providing exceptional customer service. We are growing and looking for technicians with skillsets in any one area or all aspects of boilers/hydronics.  Essential Functions:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Experience with installing, repairing & maintenance of residential boilers.
• Understanding of radiator and baseboard hydronic systems and piping
• Fluency in working with copper, black iron, and pro-press materials.
• Standard 80% and Condensing boiler experience a plus
• Space heating and domestic water applications knowledge
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Understand boiler operations safety protocols and technical manuals
• Must possess a background and experience of plumbing and associated equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
• 3-5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
• All successful candidates must be able to pass the required physical, background check and drug-screen.
