Overview:
As a member of our team, you are responsible for performing key functions in servicing our clients and supporting the JRAC team. This includes, but is not limited to: preventive maintenance, time & material service, and installations. The goal of this position is to ensure that our key stakeholders (Clients and JRAC team members) are properly supported.
Essential Functions:
This position requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Because the duties and responsibilities of this position are in multiple areas, a broad base of knowledge is required, as well as a willingness to operate in multiple roles as situations dictate.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Safe use of tools & equipment
- Up to date on electrical code standards
- Check wiring for code compliance
- Proficiency with preparing quotes
- Operate and maintain switchgear
- Install power supply wiring and conduit
- Pull wires in different settings
- Wires devices, fixtures, and panel boards
- Install electrical panels
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshoot
- includes minor repairs and lighting
- repair of ac, dc drives, controls & indicators
- Connect and test service and distribution
- Understands use of meters and diagnostic equipment
- Handles temperature and automatic controls
- Experience with specialized systems, control voltage, and conductors.
- High voltage – 480
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of field experience
- Clean driving record
- CFC certification (preferred)
- Trade school (preferred)
- Electrical card (preferred)
- Journeyman’s card (preferred)
- Master’s card (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Able to work irregular and extended hours
