Overview:
As a member of our team, you are responsible for performing key functions in servicing our clients and supporting the JRAC team. This includes, but is not limited to: preventive maintenance, time & material service, and installations. The goal of this position is to ensure that our key stakeholders (Clients and JRAC team members) are properly supported.
This position requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Because the duties and responsibilities of this position are in multiple areas, a broad base of knowledge is required, as well as a willingness to operate in multiple roles as situations dictate.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor productivity across all shifts, including amount and type of work assigned as well as the quality and quantity of work accomplished.
- Manage sheet metal team and offer install assistance
- Create weekly schedules for the sheet metal team and review time sheets
- Handle employee evaluations and designate training as needed.
- Assist with disciplinary actions and documentation
- Review project proposals and determine cost estimates
- Estimate quantity of materials utilized in projects, duration of the project, and amount of labor required (includes cost associated with contractors)
- Maintain positive relationships and effectively communicate project plans
- Prepare, load, and deliver necessary materials for projects
- Serve as project manager overseeing on-time installations and upholding proper code and safety requirements
- Complete purchase orders and inventory for jobs.
- Offer on call support and availability
- Participate in weekly managers call and provide updates to leadership
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have relevant work and leadership experience
- Must understand and interpret design-build plans provided by engineers
- Sheet metal experience required
- Must be able to multitask and work closely with field mechanics and vendors to meet specific deadlines
- Experience with project management and quoting jobs
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
- Clean driving record
- CFC certification preferred
- Trade school preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to work irregular and extended hours, including Saturdays
- All successful candidates must be able to pass the required background check and drug-screen.
