I recently had my heating and cooling system replaced. I got 5 large companies to come to my home to look at the project. I ultimately chose James River Air, Jonathan took the time to address the areas in my home that were not comfortable. Everything that James River did at my home was exceptional. They took the time to do the project right and advised me of what they were doing at all times. Having been in the construction business my whole life, I had always heard James River Air was very expensive. After reviewing all my estimates James River was not the most expensive. They were the BEST VALUE the crew was exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone that needs the job done right!

We have used James River for all our plumbing, heating, and cooling needs for at least 5 years, and could not be happier.  Their service professionals are always excellent - extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. While James River is not the least expensive option, we have never been disappointed with the quality of their work or the parts they use, and are willing to pay for piece of mind.

James River ran a special in the paper,  so I called them yesterday morning. Within a few hours I had one of their people there, a very nice person by the name of Paul. He was very thorough, he did an excellent job, and offered some advice on some future matters I had some questions about.  He clearly was very experienced. This was my first experience using James River, but it won't be my last. Their response to my service call was truly excellent.

I am very happy with them.  I called on a Saturday morning and they said I would be next after the call the tech was on.  About an hour and a half and he called and said he's on the way.  Arrived when he said he would, came in did what he had to do and was very friendly and nice.  Very happy with the company and the people.  Definitely recommend them.

From the original repair technician, to the salesperson to the installation technician, James River Air Conditioning employees were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.  If the system is close to as good as the employees are, we'll be calling James River for any other services we need that they offer.  Thank you for making an unfortunate situation more comfortable for us.  A special thanks to Ralph, Arlo, Greg and Jack for all of your patience and help!

Amazing service. From the moment I called I had great customer service from a gentleman named James. He was quick and knowledgeable and saved me money where he could. Most companies I called couldn't make time for me until mid next week. My air conditioning wasn't working and it is over 100 degrees outside. I didn't want to wait. James found a way to see me on the SAME DAY! Then the service rep TJ came. He was as nice as could be. Discovered the issue quickly. Answered all my questions and made me feel like a valued customer. I will never call another company again. Thank you all!
