We also offer maintenance plans for home standby generators. Routine maintenance is needed to ensure that your generator works properly when you really need it! Our plans include one major inspection each year. Contact our office for pricing or to sign up for a plan. Minor Inspection

• Check general conditions of generator.
• Check all hoses and belts.
• Check all fluid levels and top off.
• Check electrical connections.
• Start generator and warm up.
• Transfer power from utility to generator and check.
• Load generator and check output; correct if necessary.
• Transfer power back to utility and check.
• Shut down generator, re-check fluid levels.

Major Inspection

• Check general conditions of generator.
• Check all hoses and belts.
• Change oil and filter.
• Change spark plugs.
• Change air filter.
• Check specific gravity of coolant.
• Check specific gravity of battery fluid.
• Check electrical connections.
• Start generator and warm up.
• Transfer power from utility to generator and check.
• Load generator and check output; correct if necessary.
• Transfer power back to utility and check.
• Shut down generator, re-check fluid levels.
