Load Calculations / HeatMaxx / CoolMaxx

James River Air Conditioning is an active member of the National Comfort Institute (NCI). As a member, we understand that in order for heating and cooling equipment to operate at its designed efficiency it needs to be installed properly.

This means running a load calculation on your home to make sure the equipment is sized properly. It also means evaluating your current ductwork and filtration systems using NCI's HeatMaxx / CoolMaxx procedures. Some of the problems we sometimes find include:

• High static pressure.
• Inefficiently designed duct fittings
• Restrictive air filters.
• Improperly sized returns.
